Role Objective Trusted partner to sales team, executing pricing process and communications. Administers contracts, quotes, deviated pricing and bid requests. Works within pricing policies, processes and systems. Collaborates, builds, maintains and manages relationships and activities with field sales, account representatives and customer contacts as appropriate. Essential Functions and Responsibilities * Evaluate new and renewal pricing opportunities from the sales team, assess profitability & provide feedback in a timely manner * Ability to articulate insights from data and communicate the feedback/strategy in a clear/concise manner * Act as a trusted partner for sales team and other internal team members to achieve business results * Identify opportunities to improve and refine pricing processes across the Enterprise * Apply knowledge of pricing strategies, deal economics & financial modeling techniques to assess opportunities * Utilize tools and technologies (Salesforce, SAP, PowerBI/Tableau/Excel) to support pricing strategy decisions * Effectively manage time to provide predictable and reliable responses to sales team on needed pricing questions * Accurately input needed pricing data into ERP system to ensure accurate customer/end-user pricing * Work collaboratively across the organization with sales, IT, Total Solutions & Finance to ensure alignment of strategy and execution * Analyze and inform leadership team of trends and opportunities in all markets related to competitive intelligence, market pricing and profitability trends to ensure long term profitability * Ad Hoc data analyses & project work as needed; other duties as assigned Education and Experience * Bachelor's Degree in Business related field (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, etc.) preferred * Minimum six (6) years' experience in related field (pricing, finance, sales ops, analytics) * Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively * Basic understanding of Profit and Loss drivers - ability to make decisions to influence profitability * Intermediate Excel experience required - lookups, pivot tables, advanced formulas (index-match, if statements) * ERP experience preferred (SAP, JD Edwards, etc.) * Willingness to learn and eagerness to drive improvements Supervision/Coordination Coordinates and communicates activities related to the pricing process Role Type Mostly Virtual - Less than 10% on-site work Travel Requirements Overnight Travel - not required To Apply: To apply for this position, please complete the online application process.
