As a UX Designer at GEHealthCare, you’ll support the Command Center product. Command Center helps hospitals and health systems care for patients more efficiently, effectively and with higher quality. It coordinates scattered healthcare data, complex protocols, and siloed care teams and offers a real-time decision and collaboration platform at the patient, unit, department, health system and regional level. As result, health systems unlock capacity, improve length of stay, and create a predictable patient flow.

As a key member of the team, you’ll help redefine the current and next phase of the product design, using your UX skills to navigate from ambiguity to clarity. You’ll lead how to bring data and analytics into products that drive decisions proactively and deliver the last mile of exeuction. You will use your expertise crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that empower users to make decisions efficiently and with confidence. You will partner with product management and engineering in agile and lean methodologies as well as work directly with customers and the field.

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver, review, and critique UX designs of current product lines and future roadmap to ensure effective and rich designs (interaction, visual styling, etc)

  • Work with UX researchers and product managers to understand the persona, user needs, behaviors, and jobs to be done

  • Lead and participate in UX activities (in person and remote) such as user resarch, design, interviews, workshops, and other user studies

  • Passionately engage with customers in user research and discovery

  • Translate findings into usable, useful, effective and efficient user experiences

  • Distill research findings and analyze customer feedback to guide and inform stakeholders

  • Provide information in verbally, in writing, and visually through renders, wireframes, mock-ups, and clickable prototypes

  • Test and validate working hypotheses with end users through usability testing of wireframes, clickable prototype, and published product including design critique

  • Create style guides, ux audits, and storybooks and understand with engineering on implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art / Graphic Design / Industrial Design, Experience Design, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Computer Interaction

  • 8-10 years UX experience, including Enterprise UX experience

  • Experience with tables, charts, and dashboard products, including data visualization skills

  • Have a portfolio of work samples and visualizations of flows, scenarios, personas, sketches, interactions and prototypes (of any fidelity)

  • Solid technical background and experience working with engineers

Desired Qualifications:

  • Healthcare data visualization experience

  • Human centered design methodology
