IT Qlik Analyst

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: The IT Qlik Analyst is a key member of the BI Team, collaborating closely with business units to drive projects focused on developing applications using both Qlik Sense on Prem and Qlik Sense SaaS. As a senior analyst, you will oversee end-to-end development, including ETL processes, data model scripting, front-end development, Nprinting, and SaaS reporting. Additionally, you’ll handle QMC administration, upgrade support, and provide guidance to developers across the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership

  • Lead projects within the company, designing, building, testing, and deploying complex analytical solutions using Qlik Sense from multiple data sources.

  • Qlik SaaS Migration

  • Work with the Project team to migrate Qlik Sense Enterprise to Qlik SaaS, including Nprinting to SaaS Reporting.

  • Consultation and Assistance

  • Provide support to multiple teams through collaboration, consultancy, project management, or hands-on assistance.

  • Mentorship

  • Serve as a lead mentor for junior developers, fostering a team of experienced Qlik developers.

  • Innovation

  • Encourage the exploration of new ideas and technologies within the BI space.

  • System Upgrades

  • Own upgrades to systems, Qlik environments, VizLib, and NPrinting, working closely with Basis teams.

  • Documentation

  • Document procedures and processes.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or Agriculture (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on business experience developing in Qlik products at an expert level or similar tool required.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience in application design, development, and deployment using Qlik preferred.

  • Familiarity with SaaS environments and Qlik Sense SaaS preferred.

  • SQL knowledge required.

  • Web-based application development using .NET, Visual Basic, or Java environments is a plus.

  • Expertise as a Qlik Sense developer preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of formal database architecture and design.

  • Leadership and Communication:

  • Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • Ability to translate complex functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.

  • Clear communication of results to a non-technical audience.

  • Industry Experience (preferred):

  • Exposure to protein company analytics.

  • Familiarity with SAP BW or SAP BPC.

  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

  • Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of $80,000-$95,000 ; and

  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
