Job Description

Location: London or Warsaw

Contract: full time

This is an exciting new role in the marketing department of Elavon Europe. You’ll be working closely with the Digital Customer Management team to help bring to live the customer servicing platform roadmap, and help drive adoption, revenue, and retention, with relevant customer offers and content.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring that customer experience is engaging, efficient and effective, through:

  1. User-Centric Design : Develop user interfaces and experiences and create user-centred designs.

  2. Research and Analysis : Analyse user behaviours, pain points, and preferences data. Utilise insights to inform design decisions.

  3. Wireframing and Prototyping : Propose and sketch visual concepts, design wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and mock-ups to visualise and iterate on the user interface design.

  4. Visual Design : Create visually appealing, ensure design standards, guidelines and best practices are adhered to and enhances the overall aesthetics of our products.

You will be focused on the question, "How will people know that this product solves their problem?" You will work with Product, the Digital Customer Management team, the wider marketing, and sales teams to ensure successful user-centred design updates and to spread the word regarding this product and improvements.

Key accountabilities:

  • User-Centric Design : Develop user interfaces and experiences that prioritize the needs and expectations of our customers. Create user-centred designs that enhance usability and efficiency.

  • Research and Analysis : Collaborate with various team members to gather and analyse data about user behaviours, pain points, and preferences. Utilize insights to inform design decisions.

  • Wireframing and Prototyping : Propose and sketch visual concepts, design wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and mock-ups to visualize and iterate on the user interface design.

  • Information Architecture : Structure information and content to create intuitive navigation and information retrieval within our merchant services applications.

  • Collaboration : Work closely with other members of the digital team, marketing, and cross-functional teams, including customer experience, developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation of designs.

  • Usability Testing : Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs for continuous improvement. Work with digital, marketing and customer experience team to plan and conduct remote and on-site user research and usability testing with real users to ensure the end- design provides users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, and engagement.

  • Accessibility : Ensure that designs are inclusive and compliant with accessibility standards to reach a broad user base.

  • Visual Design : Collaborate with visual designers or create visually appealing, ensure design standards, guidelines and best practices are adhered to and enhances the overall aesthetics of our products.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices, interactive design principles, information architecture and experience architecture

  • Demonstrate knowledge of design thinking process and framework, and familiarisation with workshop and co-creations

  • Demonstrate knowledge of website architecture, interactive design principles, web usability, and business needs

  • Experience with user-centred design from discovery and research to delivery

  • Experience/familiarity with accessibility best practices

  • Experience/familiarity with CSS and responsive design

  • Comprehensive knowledge of accessibility standards and how to apply them

  • Experience designing products for mobile and desktop; internal facing systems experience is a plus

  • The job requires an efficient self-starter with A strategic mindset is complemented by hands-on capabilities, allowing you to articulate a vision and execute plans, you’ll also be a strong influencer with a keen attention to detail and honed organisational skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred emphasis on Service Design, Experience Architecture, or Interaction Design), or equivalent experience

  • 4+ years of related work experience, such as UX or digital industry

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Visio, Adobe product suite, or similar.

  • Experience with research tools including Quantum Metrics, HotJar, CrazyEgg, Zarget or other similar tools.

  • A portfolio showcasing relevant design work.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
