Job Description

The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for taking the lead on quarterly ASP calculation and quarterly/annual 340B activities. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for analyses related to both the Bona Fide Service Fee (BFSF) and Fair Market Value (FMV) processes as well as play a key role in understanding the FMV Tool, Fee-for-Service (FFS) contracts and their impact to Government calculations in conjunction with managing projects related to BFSF and FMV with the 3rd party vendor and cross-functional teams within AbbVie. This role serves as subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and requires the individual to be able to work independently with minimal supervision while fostering and developing solid internal/external cross-functional relationships (i.e. Legal, Customer Service, Pricing personnel, etc.).

Core Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all activities and financial analysis related to ASP calculation, 340B calculation, and Bonafide Service Fee (BFSF) checklists and Fair Market Value (FMV).

• Ensure compliance with laws governing Medicaid and BFSF programs are within AbbVie’s written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

• Quarterly ASP calculation and presentation for Senior Leadership review.

• J Code verification, Data analytics and problem solving for Government Pricing calculations, and conducting trend analyses.

• Support and test government system upgrade and/or enhancements impacting the area and s upport of activities related to IRA implementation and/or other new legislative calculations.

• Quarterly 340B calculation and presentation for Senior Leadership review.

• 340B daily and annual true-up process, Entity identified refunds/audits, 340B contract maintenance, and Support and test government system upgrade and/or enhancements impacting the area .

• Data analytics and problem solving with regards to Government Pricing calculations, using tools such as Model N, Data Lake, or other data sources and performing tasks such as conducting trend analyses or performing presentations to leadership or other teams as needed.

• Ensure compliance with laws governing Medicaid and BFSF programs are within AbbVie’s written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

• Manage the end-to-end process on the BFSF SharePoint site as well as within the program, Contrax, with the use of Adobe Quick Sign, and manage and maintain BFSF/FMV 3 rd party vendor relationship.

• Annually create BFSF/FMV purchase order (PO) to include managing budget transfers and reconciling the PO and perform FMV evaluations related to FFS contracting.

• Update the desktop procedures and SOP as needed in addition to documenting reasonable assumptions.

• Documenting and reviewing key processes with an eye towards improvement.

• Cross functional communication with Supply Chain Trade Marketing, Brand Management, MABI, Government Pricing team members, Legal, OEC as well as external customers as needed.

• Manage all Desk Top Procedures (DTPs) related to specific areas of responsibility.

• Maintain procedural documentation as required by changes in legislation and business practices.

• Perform ad hoc legal, management, and customer requests and other duties, as assigned.

• Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• BA/BS required

• 3+ years business experience, preferably with a concentration in data analysis, trade relations, or government pricing.

• Experience in IT Business support desirable.

• Proficiency in Excel required. Experience in Access and government pricing systems (i.e. Model N) desirable.
