Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Test Technical Analyst is responsible for architecting, designing and developing tools and automation that drive efficiencies and quality across the organization. The position requires deep technical skills; the ability to grasp business concepts quickly; along with the capacity to evangelize and teach others to get the most value from the developed solution. The position requires solid understanding of software development best practices (source code control, change control, continuous integration/delivery) as well as the ability to work in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will consistently strive to learn emerging technologies that would be useful for the job role.

In this role you will:

• Guidance and advice on current enterprise and cloud trends.

• Proper Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming for browser-based desktop and mobile platforms, as well as backing services and applications

• Best practices of Software Architecture and Domain Modeling for implementation of Cloud-Ready, Microservice, and/or Event-Driven Architecture

• Enterprise Application development, integration, and delivery with distributed architecture

• Integration between loosely-coupled systems using application programming interfaces (APIs) to form complex systems and automate routine tasks

• Follow technical and development standards.

• Develop, enhance and support current and future tools, applications, database integrations and automated jobs.

• Collaborate with customers on requirements and support issues.

• Participate in regularly scheduled peer code review, team stand-ups and one-on-ones.

• Documentation of new development items, deployed solutions, enhancement releases or new implementations for team repository.

• Provide accurate and thorough estimates of work effort and completion times.

• Provide guidance in the creation and maintenance of tool processes and procedures.

• Make evolutionary improvements to the solution as it grows in maturity and reach across the organization.

• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously

• Learn and adapt to new industry applications and tools.

Qualifications that you will need:

• 5+ years of testing experience

• Bachelor’s Degree Required or equivalent work experience

• SQL server database and programming skills in ASP.NET, C#, Java, Python, REST API, SSIS, Web Services, JSON, LINQ, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, ORM, Angular and Visual Studio.

• An understanding of relational database configuration and integration concepts, containers such as Docker.
