About the Role:

  • As a CBRE Union Data Center Engineer, this is a critical role in the team leading all aspects of equipment maintenance and instrument calibration procedures at the site.

  • First Shift | Monday - Friday with Local 21

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to optimize HVAC system performance

  • Monitor environmental conditions and implement efficiency improvements

  • Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data center HVAC systems

  • Provide support during emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations if required

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or GED and a minimum of four years of related experience or trade school training.

  • Data center, hospital or any critical environment experience.

  • Universal CFC certification preferred.

  • Additional certification in one or more of the following: electrical, mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
