"The Senior UX Lead is a key driver in creating the next generation of applications our clients use every day. With a deep focus on user needs, you will be developing solutions that work across a variety of different projects to create a cohesive experience across FactSet. You will partner with product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers to understand our users needs and create best-in-class solutions for financial professionals to analyze data and monitor markets.As part of the UX team, you seek to fully understand user problems, and lead others in developing a shared understanding and alignment of solutions that best fit user needs. You will have influence over large-scale projects and have a significant impact on a scaling our design system being implemented across mobile, tablet, and desktop.Within the UX team, youll experience a considerate and highly collaborative group of individuals with different backgrounds and perspectives that is supportive, respectful, and prioritizes a healthy work-life balance. What you can expect day to dayLead UX design for assigned business unit, including ground-up designs and enhancements to existing products, developing applications for mobile, tablet, and desktop. Collaborate with user research to analyze research and data; gather additional information with user-focused activities such as story mapping, journey mapping, empathy mapping, and others.Engage in all aspects of the UX process, using a variety of methodologies, best practices and standards to ensure consistency and usabilityEngage with product teams to ensure we are building the correct solution, addressing user needs, and delivering solutions that focus on outcomes over outputs. Collaborate with other UX team members to deliver complete Figma wireframes that are validated, user-centric designs; work with our design system team on new components; create tests with user research to validate designs.Drive UX culture across the organization by promoting Design-Thinking, design principles, and managing expectations within product teams; share insights and strategies to further design influence and consistency across the organizationUnderstand, design for, and guide teams in accounting for accessibilityQualificationsUndergraduate or post-graduate degree in user experience design, a related field, or equivalent work experience 8+ years total experience as a UX professional, with at least 2 years in a senior role Experience in designing for financial professionals, or comparable users in data-heavy applications A portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in UX design, UX thinking, methodologies, and processes Strong knowledge of UX principles and practices, including competencies in complex workflows, information architecture, usability, and user interface design, and a steadfast process that includes user research and testing Working knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design, software design best practices, and engineering development Experience leading and facilitating collaborative UX activities, guiding teams to shared understanding Ability to empathize, influence, and drive user-centered design across a collaborative and inclusive global environmentMore about FactSetWe offer flexible working arrangements that respect your time, health, and work style.FactSet looks to foster a globally inclusive culture.
