Robert Half is searching for an eager Staff Accountant to join our long-standing and reputable client on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to join a company that prides itself on it's reputation and work culture! This is an excellent introduction into day to day corporate accounting where you will be responsible for soup to nuts accounting, starting with accounting operations and growing into handling more general ledger responsibilities. As a Staff Accountant, you will be part of an accounting team and report to senior leadership that has their CPA license if you have aspirations to get your CPA! In addition to your daily responsibilities, you will assist with reviewing schedules for the reporting processes, take part in compliance, and interact with various individuals across all departments. Here you will get a chance to hone your communication skills as you interact with both department heads, operations, and vendors. You will get a wide array of experience and get to learn accounting and about the company from the ground up!

What you will get to do everday:

• Code and enter accounts payable invoices

• Post cash receipts and daily lockbox / ACH payments

• Assist with invoicing customers

• Process employee expense reports

• Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations

• Act as back-up for payroll team

• Other ad hoc projects as they arise!

Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related

• 1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience (will consider less with relevant internships)

• Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

• Team player mentality and strong work ethic
