Job Title : Business Analyst Job Function: Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs, including troubleshooting system integration issues, application and software issues and monitoring technology implementation initiatives in a regional ar ea. Scope of Job RCM is seeking a Business Analyst for our leading mental health group in Puerto Rico. Client managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) with 19 years of experience delivering recovery-oriented services for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans. Client began offering comprehensive behavioral health services in 1999, organized through innovative network of providers, which currently delivers services to 1.3 million lives in 16 proprietary community-based clinics, collocating providers in integrated health centers, pharmacy, contracted hospitals, and an independent network of more than 1,000 behavioral health professionals. Responsibilities

  • S erves as liaison between business units and IT department to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.

  • Provides connection between business owners and IT technical resources to start realistic solutions for contract requirements, workflows, and business needs.

  • Participates in the design, development, and delivery of software applications training programs.

  • Coordinates closely with IT managers and non-technical business units to implement and define the support structure for business projects.

  • Supports the Finance Manager in proving joint, reusable, and shared strategic and tactical solutions.

  • Collaborates with internal IT staff to coordinate delivery schedules and assure delivery of needed services and goods on time and within budget.

  • Gathers and assesses strategic operational project status, issues, risks, and dependencies.

  • Leads special projects in collaboration with interns.

  • Complies with all guidelines established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and guidelines set forth by other regulatory agencies, where applicable.

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineer or related field with minimum 2+ years of experience in information systems.
