The Senior Platform Systems Analyst plays a critical role in our organization, primarily focusing on advanced technical aspects of our commercial software products for credit unions. This position is responsible for our software's intricate and advanced analysis, optimization, and support, considering both on-premise and multi-tenant deployments. The individual in this role is a key contributor to our products' continued success and our clients' satisfaction.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Conduct advanced technical analysis of our software platform, including evaluating software architecture, infrastructure requirements, and integration points for both on-premise and multi-tenant deployments.

  • Collaborate with credit union clients and technical teams to elicit, document, and manage complex technical requirements, addressing data synchronization, API integrations, and performance expectations.

  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications.

  • Develop and execute advanced test plans encompassing load, stress, and security testing, focusing on on-premise and multi-tenant system performance. Implement advanced performance monitoring tools and techniques to assess system performance continuously.

  • Create advanced technical documentation, including API documentation, installation guides, and system architecture diagrams for both on-premise and multi-tenant configurations.

  • Provide technical training to administrators and support teams, covering intricate technical aspects of the software.

  • Lead efforts in troubleshooting complex technical issues in both on-premise and multi-tenant environments, collaborating with development teams to implement solutions.

  • Collaborate with a Data Security Analyst to ensure the software complies with advanced security standards and regulatory requirements, focusing on data encryption, access controls, and multi-tenancy security.

  • Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to gather insights on software performance, usage, and trends, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

  • Leads in complex technical discussions, influence architectural decisions and drive advanced technical solutions within the product development team.

  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in software architecture, data modeling, database management, and system integration, including advanced proficiency in programming languages and frameworks relevant to the software.

  • Proven expertise in conducting technical requirements analysis, including advanced data synchronization and API integration, and the ability to document complex technical specifications.

  • Proficiency in performance tuning techniques, load testing, and security testing for complex software systems.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • A bachelor's in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field

  • Ability to create advanced technical documentation, including detailed API documentation, complex system architecture diagrams, and installation guides.

  • Experience in providing advanced technical training to technical staff, administrators, and support teams on intricate technical aspects of the software.

  • Proven experience in resolving complex technical issues, including customization guidance and intricate technical support, collaborating effectively with development teams.

  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools and techniques to gain insights into software performance, usage patterns, and advanced data-driven decision-making.

  • Several years of experience as a System Analyst or similar role, with a background in the financial software industry

  • Experience in software development, especially in complex software systems, is valuable for understanding software architecture and development processes; previous programming experience is a plus.

  • Proven experience in advanced quality assurance and testing for financial software, including advanced performance testing.

  • Advanced database management, software architecture, cybersecurity, and data analytics certifications are a plus.

  • Strong leadership skills to guide technical discussions, influence architectural decisions, and drive advanced technical solutions within the product development team and other teams at Jack Henry.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues and recommend advanced software enhancements.

  • Effective collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teams, including developers, sales, and customer support.
