Amentum EXBS Travel Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia

POSITION SUMMARY

The Travel Coordinator supports ICITAP global portfolios providing administrative assist in coordinating travel packages for federal travelers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure that invitational travelers set up in the DOJ/CRM travel system (E2)

  • Support invitational traveler system set up by collecting relevant traveler information and coordinating with system administrators

  • Ensure all travel follows Federal Travel Regulations and DOJ/CRM Divisions travel policy

  • Draft necessary documentation for travel authorization package and approvals

  • Coordinate travel reimbursement processes

  • This role requires attentional to detail and quick turn over of information submitted for timely travel approvals and reimbursements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in finance, including government contracting experience for multiple type contracts (FFP, CPFF, T&M)

  • Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing, as the position requires the ability to guide travelers in set up, travel procedures and post travel vouchering systems to keep them up to date on travel authorization package status.

  • Knowledge of regulations, policies and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources in the area studied

  • Ability to use travel approval systems like Concur, E2 and other travel logistics systems

  • Knowledge and ability to provide contract support
